My training as an artist began before college with Pat Shields DiCosimo and continued at Carnegie Mellon University where I earned my degree in graphic design and painting. I owe my greatest acknowledgement to JoAnn Maier, who taught me to see through non-objective eyes.

I have spent most of my professional career working as an art director, graphic designer, account executive, business manger, teacher, mentor and partner in my own creative firm Kromka Verrillo & Associates, Inc. in Los Angeles. However, I painted as much as time permitted. Now, my primary focus is on my paintings and related creative work.
